Intermediate Unit- low acuity 60K volume 1.7 patients per hour 8,10,12 hr shifts Must be boarded in something Need a doc that will work in the urgent care and in the intermediate dept of the ED Emergency Medicine - New York 11/23/2011
Volume: 140k Trauma 1 Triple coverage (residents are also present) 28% of ED volume goes to fast track 25% Pediatrics 15% admission Shifts times 7-3, 3-11, 11-7 (potentially have 7-7 shifts) All specialty backup Emergency Medicine - New York 11/23/2011
Volume: 40K MD hours: 36 hours (7a-7p; noon to midnight, 7p-7a) Midlevel: 36 hours (9a-9p, 11a-11p; 7p-7a) Level two stroke center – need to be stroke certified No cathlab All traumas are transferred Have all the other specialties, including a hospitalist | Search By StateAll |
